Avalonfinance withdrawal paths vary by market and recipient address

- updated

Avalonfinance withdrawal routes depend on the market and asset behind the position. Avalon Labs documented interface withdrawals for suspended lending markets, an announced snapshot-based Zeta Market return in USDT on Ethereum, and separate USDa redemption. Both October 2026 claim deadlines have passed, and late-claim availability remains unconfirmed.

Zeta Market's announced return ties the planned USDT payment to the net position's USD value at the snapshot time.

Withdrawal routes and address conditions

A position's market determines its recovery route. The October notice required holders with certain address types to contact Avalon Labs before submitting either claim form. The dated instructions distinguish direct asset withdrawals from a planned distribution and a stablecoin redemption.

Withdrawal routes and address conditions
Position or address Documented action Announced outcome Deadline or prerequisite
Oracle-affected lending market Withdraw through the asset's Your Info tab Asset return after on-chain confirmation The June tutorial required timely withdrawal without specifying a cutoff date
Zeta Market with an eligible Ethereum recipient Submit the Zeta claim form with the ZetaChain address Planned USDT distribution on Ethereum Claim deadline: October 17, 2026 (UTC)
Zeta Market with a smart contract wallet, multisig wallet, or exchange deposit address Contact Avalon Labs before submitting any claim Planned distribution subject to recipient eligibility Ethereum accessibility or compatibility needed attention before submission; the October 17, 2026 (UTC) claim deadline also applied.
USDa on any supported chain If using a smart contract wallet, multisig wallet, or exchange deposit address, contact Avalon Labs first. Submit the USDa claim form and complete withdrawal. Conversion back to supported assets Claim and withdrawal deadline: October 10, 2026 (UTC)

The Zeta Market process followed the announced sunset of its supporting network infrastructure. The June lending suspensions followed discontinued oracle price feeds. These changes affected different operating dependencies, and Avalon Labs described different recovery mechanisms for them.

Network and asset selection in suspended markets

The suspended lending markets covered Bitlayer, BSC, Core, BOB, BSquared, and Mode after APRO discontinued oracle price-feed services. Avalon Labs described these suspensions in its June 10, 2026 withdrawal tutorial. Network selection remained relevant to those isolated lending markets; an asset name alone didn't locate a position.

The interface organized the withdrawal route around the selected chain and asset market. Details opened that market's page, and Your Info contained the position's available actions. Market-wide statistics and personal balances served different purposes. The market's total supplied amount wasn't a personal withdrawal allowance.

How would Avalon Labs value a Zeta Market position?

The planned Zeta Market snapshot would establish each user's net position and its USD value at the snapshot time. Avalon Labs described this arrangement in Important Notice Regarding Recent Asset Adjustments, published October 3, 2026.

The announcement linked the resulting USD valuation to a corresponding USDT distribution on Ethereum. USD described the valuation unit; USDT identified the token the team planned to distribute.

A gross deposit balance didn't, by itself, establish the planned net return. The team first needed to calculate and value the user's net position. Payment in USDT could therefore differ in both token and quantity from the original deposit.

The snapshot time was the announced valuation point. The notice didn't specify an exact timestamp, so the claim deadline shouldn't be treated as the snapshot date.

The October notice announced the arrangement without confirming completed distributions. An allocation calculated for a claim and a USDT payment received on Ethereum are different states.

Claim submission and Avalon Labs' responsibilities

Zeta Market holders had to submit the designated claim form and provide their ZetaChain address by October 17, 2026 (UTC). Avalon Labs planned to send the corresponding USDT amount to the eligible Ethereum address associated with that ZetaChain address.

Avalon Labs assigned itself responsibility for the snapshot, calculation, verification, and distribution throughout this network-sunset recovery. A claimant wasn't required to navigate the ZetaChain shutdown independently. This division of responsibilities didn't remove the holder's submission requirement or make every address eligible to receive funds on Ethereum.

Ethereum compatibility before a claim

Smart contract wallets, multisig wallets, and exchange deposit addresses could have accessibility or compatibility problems on Ethereum. The October notice instructed affected holders to contact Avalon Labs before submitting any claim form. A position associated with one of these address types therefore needed attention before the ordinary claim submission. Matching a ZetaChain address to an Ethereum recipient wasn't sufficient if the intended recipient couldn't access the distribution.

USDa redemption and the monthly balance charge

USDa holders faced a separate redemption process after Avalon Labs announced discontinuation across all supported chains. The October 3, 2026 notice required a claim submission and completed withdrawal by October 10, 2026 (UTC). The Zeta Market deadline didn't extend this earlier cutoff, and its planned Ethereum USDT distribution wasn't a general redemption specification for USDa.

The announced custodial fee for USDa left unredeemed after October 10, 2026 (UTC) was 5% of the total remaining balance per month until redemption is complete. The fee basis was the remaining USDa balance, not interest earned or a claimed profit. The notice specified monthly charging without detailing a daily accrual method, so a precise late-redemption cost needs the applicable balance and charging history.

Withdrawal authorization and transaction confirmation

The June tutorial said withdrawn assets would return to the holder's wallet once the withdrawal transaction confirmed on-chain. Approving a wallet request alone didn't establish that confirmation.

Avalon Labs still needed to verify a recovery claim before carrying out its announced distribution. The June tutorial's timing description for interface withdrawals didn't establish a processing schedule for Zeta Market or USDa claims. The October notice didn't specify a distribution-completion date.

Recovery information and impersonation risks

The recovery process didn't require a private key or seed phrase, and Avalon Labs stated it would never request either. Sharing the required ZetaChain address didn't authorize anyone to obtain the wallet's secret credentials. A message asking for a seed phrase to validate a claim would contradict the announced process. The October notice directed affected users to Avalon Labs' official Discord ticket system for assistance with these recoveries.

Expired deadlines and late submissions

The USDa deadline (October 10, 2026, UTC) and Zeta Market claim deadline (October 17, 2026, UTC) have passed. Their expiry doesn't establish that every pending case has finished, nor does the October notice establish a late-claim window. A holder who missed either cutoff needs a case-specific response from Avalon Labs about whether review remains possible and which submission route applies.

The June tutorial also warned that missing the affected markets' withdrawal window could cause delayed recovery, partial loss, or permanent inaccessibility. It didn't state a calendar cutoff in that tutorial. The October dates belong to their respective processes; they don't establish the withdrawal cutoff for those suspended markets.

Practical questions about Avalonfinance

Are the Zeta Market and USDa claim forms interchangeable?

Avalon Labs provided separate claim forms for Zeta Market recovery and USDa redemption. Each belonged to its own process and deadline. The Zeta claim required the holder's ZetaChain address. The USDa process separately required its claim submission and completed withdrawal, so the Zeta form wasn't a substitute.

Could incomplete claim information delay a recovery?

Information the team can't verify may require additional review and delay recovery. The October notice made holders responsible for submitting complete, accurate claim details. It didn't promise a fixed review duration for an unverifiable submission, so a form submission alone doesn't establish when the team will finish reviewing a case.

Is an upfront payment part of the recovery claim process?

Avalon Labs stated it wouldn't ask for payment as part of these recovery processes. The announced monthly custodial charge on unredeemed USDa balances is a separate rule. That balance charge doesn't authorize a request to transfer money to someone offering to validate, prioritize, or release a recovery claim.

Can Avalon Labs reverse a distribution sent to an incorrect address?

Avalon Labs warned that processed distributions can't be reversed. Accurate recipient information therefore matters before distribution, including the Ethereum compatibility concerns described for complex address types. The notice didn't promise a reversal or replacement payment if a holder supplied incorrect details.

Did the June statement about intact funds remove the withdrawal deadline?

The June 10, 2026 statement about intact funds didn't remove the tutorial's withdrawal-window requirement. The same tutorial warned of recovery delays, partial loss, or permanent inaccessibility after a missed deadline. That statement concerned the affected lending markets at publication; it wasn't a promise of indefinite access.
